Referrals and Allocations
At Nova-Star Supported Living, we accept referrals for males, females, and families aged 18 and above who have a local connection to the area where our accommodation and support services are provided.
When a referral is received, an appointment will be offered for a comprehensive assessment where appropriate. This assessment helps us understand the individual’s needs and determine the most suitable accommodation and level of support.
Tenant Screening
If the applicant meets our eligibility criteria and a suitable vacancy exists, we will offer them accommodation within one of our supported living properties. If there are no current vacancies, the applicant will be placed on our waiting list and considered as soon as an appropriate space becomes available.Nova-Star accepts referrals from a range of professional agencies, including:
- Local Authorities and Housing Organisations
- NHS and healthcare professionals
- Prisons, Probation, and the Police
- Drug and Alcohol Services
- Homeless Shelters and Approved Premises
- Veterans’ Support Services
Authorised referrals
Please note that referrals can only be made by a recognised professional or agency who can confirm the individual’s eligibility and support needs for Exempt Supported Accommodation.
